Supporting Neurodivergent individuals in the workplace

Improve staff wellbeing, increase productivity, reduce burnout and turnover, and build an inclusive workplace culture where all your people can thrive.

I support organisations to better understand and support neurodivergent employees through neurodiversity-informed coaching, training, and consultancy that benefits both individuals and the wider business.

Why neurodiversity awareness and support matters at work

Many organisations genuinely want to support their neurodivergent employees. Most leaders and managers care deeply about wellbeing and performance, and often ask, “What can I do to help?”

The challenge is that this question can unintentionally place the burden on the neurodivergent employee to explain how neurodivergence affects them and to know what support would help, when they may not fully understand this themselves.

Without lived experience or neurodiversity-specific training, it can be difficult for managers to recognise how different processing styles can impact an employee’s focus, energy, communication, or confidence, even when performance concerns start to show. Strengths such as creativity, problem-solving, and innovation can easily be overshadowed by overwhelm, burnout, or time pressure.

That’s where neurodiversity-informed support makes a real difference.

By building understanding and awareness across leadership and people managers, organisations create a foundation of psychological safety. Employees are more likely to speak openly, managers feel more confident having supportive conversations, and adjustments become proactive rather than reactive.

My work supports individuals directly, while also helping organisations develop the understanding, curiosity, and inclusive culture that allows neurodivergent employees to perform well, feel valued, and thrive at work.

“Lauren delivered an excellent interactive session for YMCA Trinity Group aimed at helping our staff who are, or maybe, neurodivergent as well as managers supporting their neurodivergent teams to thrive.

Lauren’s thoughtful preparation and communication with us prior to training was reassuring and the execution and engagement in the session was great. Lauren had a great mix of relational, friendly interaction alongside being knowledgeable and professional.

Feedback from colleagues post-event was positive, including reflections on their own confidence and strategies they can adopt.

"Lauren’s approachable style created space for people to ask questions openly, while her knowledge and professionalism gave the session real value"

Lauren delivered a highly informative and engaging session on understanding ADHD in the workplace, tailored specifically for our ADHD staff and the colleagues supporting them.

Attendees really enjoyed the session and found it both useful and accessible. Lauren’s approachable style created space for people to ask questions openly, while her knowledge and professionalism gave the session real value.

The feedback was so positive that we are now planning for Lauren to return and deliver whole-school training.

Lauren has also been coaching a member of staff, and the impact has been incredible. The member of staff has felt more empowered, and this has had a positive effect on the wider team.

I found the session very informative and knowledgeable, it was helpful to also have real life scenarios as part of the discussion. This made the workshop feel personal and honest. Lauren is a lovely lady with lots of knowledge to support Neurodiversity in the workspace.
